DSL users, If you are required to enter a User Name & Password to access your DSL service, please call UTMI.net at 1-888-257-1042 regarding "Enabling PPPoE" prior to continuing with installation. Your DSL provider can tell you if this step is necessary.

STEP 1: |
With your modem and computer on, and using the Ethernet cable provided, connect the UTMI.net DSL modem to the Ethernet port on the back of your computer.

STEP 2: |
Power OFF your UTMI.net DSL modem, and wait one minute before powering in back ON.

3: |
Fully reboot your computer by powering it down and then turning it back ON. Confirm your internet connection is active.

Outbound calling is activated
as soon as the UTMI.net VoIP adapter
is connected. Inbound
calling and Emergency dialing will
take up to ten business days from your
sign up date to be activated.
UTMI.net will send you an email notification
when these services are activated.

STEP

With your modem and computer
on, and using the Ethernet cable
provided, connect the DSL or cable
modem to the WAN port on the back
of the UTMI.net VoIP adapter.

2: |
Plug an Ethernet cable into
the port labeled "LAN" on
the back of the UTMI.net VoIP adapter
and connect the other end of the
cable into the Ethernet port on your computer.

3: |
Using a standard telephone
cord, plug your phone into the "Phone 1" port
on the UTMI.net VoIP adapter. Any
touch tone phone will work with
the UTMI.net VoIP adapter.

4: |
Connect the power adapter
into the UTMI.net VoIP adapter
and plug the unit into a power
source. The UTMI.net VoIP adapter's
power and WAN lights should be
lit.

5: |
Power OFF your DSL or cable
modem, and wait one minute before
powering in back ON. This may mean
unplugging the power source from
the back of the modem. If it does
not have an "off" switch.
Leave the UTMI.net VoIP adapter
on.

6: |
The UTMI.net VoIP adapter
is ready when the light marked "VOICE" on the
front of the UTMI.net VoIP adapter
glows. The UTMI.net VoIP adapter
may take up to ten minutes to register
before the light glows.

7: |
Once the voice light on the
UTMI.net VoIP adapter glows, fully
reboot your computer by powering
it down and then turning it back
ON. Confirm your internet connection
is active.

Make your first phone call to UTMI.net's Welcome number. Call 1-888-257-1042. You will hear how to log on to UTMI.net, set up your features and activate your voicemail.

of the switch.

Plug an Ethernet cable into the port labeled "LAN" on the back of the switch and connect
the other end of the cable into the Ethernet port on your computer.

Repeat Step 2 for each of your other computers.

STEP
4: |
Plug the switch into a power source. The switch's power and WAN lights should be lit (if applicable).

5: |
Power OFF your UTMI.net DSL modem, and wait one minute before powering in back ON. Leave the switch on.

6: |
Fully reboot each of your computers by powering them down and then turning them back ON. Confirm your internet connections are active.
